Dr. Ivan Estrada
DDS, Board Certified
Hello, everyone! My name is Dr. Ivan Estrada. I was born and raised here in good ol’ Amarillo, Texas! After graduating from Tascosa High School, I received my Bachelors in Biology at West Texas A&M University. I was then accepted into Texas A&M University School of Dentistry’s Post Baccalaureate Program.
After graduating from Post Bacc, I then matriculated to the 4 year DDS curriculum at Texas A&M University School of Dentistry. I completed my 2 year Pediatric Residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
I live at home with my beautiful wife, Macy, and I’m a father to 2 boys, Rhome Iver and Arlo Woods. I also have a pet dog, a girl bloodhound named Nola.
I chose pediatric dentistry because in going through my studies and seeing it in my family, a lot of people don’t truly understand the impact that good oral hygiene has on a person’s physical and emotional health. What better way to set someone up for a lifetime of great oral hygiene than when they’re a kid, ensuring to establish good oral hygiene practices and showing kids that it’s fun to go see the dentist and we’re here to help and give them the best smile for the rest of their life! I’m excited to return home and service the Amarillo community!
